Fees 

 The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends a $311 fee for a 50-minute psychology consultation.

Our practice offers a reduced rate of  $210 for a standard 50-minute session to enhance accessibility.

Medicare Rebate

 Eligible clients can claim a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session, for up to 10 sessions per year. To receive the rebate, you must be referred by a General Practitioner (GP) under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Programme and  your GP must provide a referral letter to the practice before your first session.

Payment & Billing

• Fees must be paid prior to the appointment.
• Credit card payments only (all major cards accepted).
• Clients must complete a credit card authorization form as part of the online intake process.
• Payments are securely managed through Halaxy (online booking system). ). For details on how your information is protected, please refer to the FAQ section on Halaxy.

Health Fund Rebates

• Health fund benefits vary, so please confirm with your provider whether psychology sessions are covered and at what rate.
• The practice cannot process private health insurance claims directly.
• After each session, you will receive an invoice containing all the necessary details for your claim.
• You will need to submit your claim directly to your health insurance provider.

Note: You cannot claim a rebate from both Medicare and a private health fund for the same session.

Cancellation

• Cancellation Out side  48 hours  – No Fee
• Cancellation with 48 hours – 50% of session fee
• Cancellation with 24 hours – 100% of session fee

Note: Cancellation fees cannot be claimed through Medicare or your health fund.
